Denney Jewelers was founded in 1954 by the late Ray Denney of Jacksonville.  He always believed in quality and pride in workmanship, ideals his family continues to value strongly today.  When Ray and his wife, Marilyn, retired in 1992, the business moved to a larger location in Jacksonville and was run by their two sons. In 2000, Shane and Cathy Denney took full ownership of Denney Jewelers and their son Brian joined the business in 2002.  Daughter, Michelle,  and son-in-law, Matthew Dearing, entered the business in 2005 when Denney Jewelers relocated to their current location at the corner of Veterans and Wabash in Springfield.

 

Denney Jewelers offers a variety of services and products including bridal, remounts, diamonds, colored gemstones, appraisals, a full on-site custom design studio, repair and refurbishing, and fine jewelry for men and women. Denney Jewelers takes pride in being a family owned and operated business for three generations with four bench jewelers and a staff of friendly professionals including: Shane and Cathy Denney, Brian Denney, Matthew and Michelle Dearing, Bruce Lauer, John Daum, Bruce Helton, Doug Harp, Brandi Plowman, Christopher Bailey, Keith Altevogt, Steve Suter, and Izzy Harms, Erika Daum and E. Cori Stuart.
